The Verification Comments' page enables you (as an Administrator) to create and maintain verification comment options. These comments appear in a list when one of your Administrators is reviewing a workflow and is changing the status against a workflow step. This allows a comment that is related to the status change to be recorded against that change. 

You can set a comment as mandatory or optional. You can also add, edit, and delete comment options in this page. Please note that you can enter up to 1000 characters in the comments' field for each comment.

The comment at the top for each verification status type is the default comment used when a workflow status is changed to that particular status. 

You can also change the position of the comments so that they display in a certain order to the Administrator when they are changing the status of a workflow step; this is achieved in the Verification Comments' page by grabbing the option, then dragging and dropping it in place.

You can access the Verification Comments' page by going to Configuration and selecting Verification.

There is a section in the Verification Comments' page for every workflow status, examples are provided below: 

Approved

The Approved section of the Verification page allows you to set the comments that are sent to the user when you approve their workflow step.

Conditional

The Conditional section of the Verification page allows you to set the comments that are sent to the user when you approve their workflow step conditionally.

Submitted

The Submitted section of the Verification page allows you to set the comments that are sent to the user when you submit their workflow step for verification.

Pending

The Pending section of the Verification page allows you to set the comments that are sent to the user when you need further information before approving the workflow step.

Incomplete

The Incomplete section of the Verification page allows you to set the comments that are sent to the user when you need the users to provide missing information before you can approve the workflow step.

Declined

The Declined section of the Verification page allows you to set the comments that are sent to the user when you decline the workflow step.
