Portal branding

The Portal page in Sitepass allows you to view and manage your portal branding.

You can update and customise the following: 

  • Subtitle
  • Colour
  • Background image
  • Background image opacity
  • Welcome text
  • Welcome colour
  • Welcome size

Subtitle

Use a maximum of one hundred characters as subtitle text for your portal. This information goes below the welcome. For example:

Colour

Use the free colour picker to set the colour for your buttons and links. You can insert the HEX code for your colour or choose a colour from the colour wheel. The colour you choose will also appear in the background of your portal. If you select a background image, this colour will appear over that image. 

If you have a non-HEX code for your colour, but you don't know the HEX code, you can use your search engine to find that colour. For example, you could search for RGB to HEX and find a colour picker; this will allow you to add the RGB code into the RGB field and it will then convert it to the HEX colour for you. When doing so for RGB 19, 13, 122, the HEX code #130d7a appears - these two codes are the same colour, they just use a different code.


Background image

Add a background image to your portal. This field takes JPEG and PNG images with a minimum resolution of 445 (width) X 250 (height). 

To add the image to the Background image box:

  • Find the file on your computer and then drag it to the Background image box and drop it in. 
  • Click on the Background image box, then find the image on your computer or mobile device and select it. 

When selected, the image is uploaded and the cropping tool appears. The cropper will always show the image with a ratio of 16:9. Use the tool to centre, realign, rotate, and crop the image.


Once you select the Confirm button, the image is cropped and added to the Background image box. 

There are two icons available within the box - the Bin icon allows you to delete your image, the Pencil icon allows you to edit your image.


Background image opacity

Use the opacity bar to determine how transparent (opaque) your background image will be on your portal.  

Welcome text

Add your welcome text here; this is the text that you want to display in the background panel of your portal. You could use this section to provide instructions for users or as an introduction to your company. 

If you have included a background image, this text will appear over that image. For example:

Use the panel to format your text.

You can make it bold, italic, or underlined. You can erase all formatting and undo or redo your changes. You can even insert a link into the text.

Welcome text colour

Use the colour picker to select the colour you want to use for the welcome text. You can insert the HEX code for your colour or choose a colour from the colour wheel.
