You can update your workflow categories that have been assigned to a workflow. You can add, delete, and edit your categories.

Mandatory categories cannot be deleted.

Edit or delete a workflow category

The edit function allows you to update your workflow subcategories. To do so, please follow these steps:

  1.  Go to the My Workflows page.


  2. Click on the desired client.
    Your workflow page for that client opens.


  3. Go to the Manage section.
  4. Click on Workflow categories.

    The Workflow categories section is displayed on the page - for example:

The next two sections of this article explain what to do next. Go to the Edit the category section or the Delete the category section to update the workflow category as per your needs.

Edit the category

The edit function allows you to update your workflow subcategories. To do so, please follow these steps (there are pre-steps listed above if you need more information):

  1. Click on the context menu (three little dots) against the workflow category you need to change. 
  2. Select Edit; for example:


    The Manage categories panel appears – for example:


    This allows you to update your subcategory(s) for this category.
  3. Change the subcategory(s) to suit your needs - you can tick and untick options.

    When a subcategory is mandatory, it is selected by default and cannot be unselected. If multiple subcategories are allowed, you can choose as many subcategories as you like. If multiple subcategories are not allowed, you can only select one (non-mandatory) subcategory.
     
  4. Click the Submit button.
    Sitepass saves your selection and a confirmation box appears.

    Please be aware that your workflow requirements might be updated based on the subcategories you have chosen.

Delete the category

The delete function enables you to delete your workflow categories. You cannot delete mandatory workflow categories.  

To delete a workflow category, please follow these steps (there are pre-steps listed above if you need more information):

  1. Click on the context menu (three little dots) against the workflow category you need to change.
  2. Select Delete; for example:


    The workflow category is removed from your list.

    Please be aware that your workflow requirements might be updated when you delete a workflow category.
