Connecting your business to a client's work site
A work site is either the actual location of a business or of where that business is temporarily located. A business can have multiple locations - for example, a bank may have several branches, each with its own physical location. An example of a temporary work site is where a construction company has set up a non-permanent workplace for an onsite project.
You might be employed to work at several locations for your employer; this may also include working onsite at a client's work site.
As an Administration, you can connect your business to a client's work site. Once connected, your employees can connect to that work site.
Steps - Connect to your client's work site
To connect to your client's work site, please follow these steps:
- Log in to Sitepass as an Administrator.
- Click on the Clients option in the left-hand pane.
This opens the Clients' page.
- Find the desired client and click on their business; this opens the selected business's workflow page.
- Go to the
Manage section and click on the
Connected work sites' tab.
The client's work sites appear on the page.
Unconnectedwork sites have a + Connect option.
Connectedwork sites do not have a + Connect option.
An example of a connected and an unconnected work site is shown below:
- Find the desired work site and click the Connect button against that work
If successful, a successfully connected to work site notification displays at the bottom of your page.
If there are no work sites available, please contact the client's business representative. When you are successfully connected, your workflow requirements might be updated based on the selected work site.
